Ram (imran khan) lives in Mumbai city he is 25yrs old and works in IDBI Bank. Life was same for him everyday same 9 to 5 job, and the same mechanical work of the bank. The same limited money and limited opportunities to rise in life.He has a mother, the only person in his life, who is ill. Her health was a cause of worries in Ram’s life and on the top of it he has to payback the loan taken by his dad. There is a deadline in which he has to pay the money and if he does not do the needful, his house will be mortgaged.

To add to this he was even rejected for his US visa for the third time, which he had applied for earning some quick bucks by going to .During this time coincidentally a mysterious character appears who picks the lottery ticket from Ram’s hands.We discover that this mysterious character named Thapa (danny) wins thought both the lottery tickets which Ram had picked it for him. Thapa then meets Ram and takes him through various situations which make him realize that he has extraordinary LUCK then any other average human being.

Similar to Ram’s characters there are other characters like Retd. Colonel Veer Pratap(Mithun chakraborti), a present convict Raghav (Ravi kishen) and a camel jockey named Shortcut etc. are similarly sourced by Thapa to come into a world of betting which is controlled by a kingpin named Mousa (sanjay dutt).The only difference in this world of betting is that the stakes are bigger then money….its human life.
